The true power for the Christian life is the simplicity of the gospel that includes God’s basic provisions for all believers. We have God’s own Word to read, and the Spirit of the living God dwelling within us always, producing fruit of the Holy Spirit so we can exhibit the character of God, and gifts from the Holy Spirit to equip believers for ministry. The power for Church life is in the simplicity of the gospel, as we gather for worship, to be taught from God’s Word, to pray for one other, and enjoy close spiritual fellowship [koinonia] that knits the body of Christ together by the Holy Spirit as the true family of God.
